What we both agree to
These are the terms for work InTheVisual Marketing does for you. Your written quote sets out the specific work and price; where it says something different from this page, the quote wins.

Quotes and scope
Every build is priced by what it contains, and your price is agreed in writing during scoping, before any work begins. If the work changes, so does the quote: needing one thing from the next level up, such as customer accounts on a website, moves the build up a level, and we tell you before it does.
Payment
Every build starts with a 50% deposit. For websites and online stores, the rest is paid on or before launch; if it hasn’t been paid, the launch waits until it is. Apps are paid sprint by sprint as you approve each one, or monthly; a sprint you don’t approve isn’t billed. You pay by card through Stripe.
Cancelling and refunds
Payments are not refunded, and the deposit is kept if a build is cancelled, because it pays for the planning, the people and the time set aside for your project. If you stop a build partway, you pay for the work done up to that point, and you receive the work you’ve paid for.
What you own
Once it’s paid in full, what we make for you is yours: the code of your app, your website, your store and your content. Accounts are set up in your name: your domain, your Shopify store and your App Store and Google Play developer accounts, with the store fees billed to you by those companies. We work in them with your permission.
Monthly work and SEO
Social media and content run month to month for as long as you want them, and you can stop with 24 hours’ notice. Monthly work started without Clarity has a one-time $750 setup charge. SEO is paid once for each term, of 3 months, 6 months or a year, with a three-month minimum; for a site we didn’t build it starts with the 3-month term at $750 and the setup charge. Money spent on ads goes to the ad platforms at cost and is billed separately from our fee.
After launch
Hosting is billed monthly, from $45 for a website and $90 for an app. Website edits are $60 and cover changes for 30 days. App changes are $75 an hour, and the hours are set before you get the quote. Care plans are monthly and listed on What we do.
Showing your work
We only show or name your project publicly, on our site or anywhere else, once you’ve approved it.
What you tell us
What you tell us about your business stays with us. We use it to do your work and for nothing else.
What we can and can’t promise
We promise the work in your quote, done the way it says. We can’t promise a search ranking by a date, that an AI tool will quote your site, or a number of followers or sales, because no agency controls those. Growth on social media is organic: we never buy followers or engagement.
The rest
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If we change them, the date at the top changes, and work already agreed stays under the terms it was agreed on. Questions: info@inthevisualmarketing.com or (210) 429-8388.
