When you're being compared to Tina Turner, Erykah Badu, and Aretha Franklin you know you have some big shoes to fill. Recently taking a break from music she had no idea she would be receiving a huge surprise winning "Artist of the Week" on San Antonio Monthly Magazine's platform for her overall fan engagement online. Q: What is your dream music project?
A: My Dream music project would be a feature with or collaboration with Erykah Badu, Fantasia, Jill Scott or Anthony Hamilton to only name a few or the opportunity to be under mentorship with any of the artists mentioned. To be honest, having the opportunity to sing on national television has always been a dream.
Q: What inspires you to create?
A: I must be in my full element when I create, this could be in the studio recording or on stage. Listening to other artists, mostly the ones I’m inspired by musically.
